The Christian lady who wrote it was hesitant to do so because so many birth stories were full of 'God's glory' and praise and peace and miracles.<br /><br />This particular lady had a tremendously long labor and was so much like yours in that she just failed to progress.<br /><br />She had no memory of it, but was told later that during the transition and long pushing time, she alternated between swearing and praising God or praying the baby out. LOL<br /><br />All in all, her testimony of prayer and dedication to her baby shone through. People kept coming to see her and her baby to remark on how she had worked so hard and miraculously brought the baby into the world. <br /><br />Like you, she felt betrayed by her body and discouraged she couldn't do labor 'right'.<br /><br />Stories like yours need to be told though to encourage those who come after.
